Valerie Perlowitz

Senior Vice President and Director, Corporate Development
Ms. Perlowitz brings more than twenty five years of hands-on expertise in the development and management of major system integration and operations programs to her role as Senior Vice President of ATSC. She is responsible for organizational design and strategic direction and is a key executive managing M&A activities. Ms. Perlowitz was the founder, President, and CEO of Reliable Integration Services, Inc. (Reliable). ATSC acquired the federal division of Reliable in March 2007. At Reliable, Ms. Perlowitz was responsible for all aspects of the management and operations of the organization, including capital development, financing, and strategic and organizational development. Reliable was recognized by Outsourcing Center/Forbes - Editor's Choice Award for Best Government with the City of Falls Church as well as the Network Professional Association - for Professionalism for Most Innovative Networking Project or Implementation, Government Category. Ms Perlowitz was also the founder and President of the RISPlex Corporation, a manufacturer of patented telecommunications equipment, which was sold through a private transaction. Prior to forming Reliable, Ms. Perlowitz was a consultant to numerous Fortune 500 companies, including IBM and AT&T, where she held a wide range of leadership roles for various medical sector and federal programs valued from $100 million to well over $2 billion. Before that, she was an engineer for United Technologies Sikorsky Aircraft and the Mitre Corporation.

Ms. Perlowitz holds her B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Northeastern University where she is an Overseer, and is an alumnus of the Harvard Business School. Ms. Perlowitz plays a very active role in the high-technology community as reflected in her activities, including: Treasurer of the Information Technology Association of America and Founding President of Women In Technology, Inc. Ms. Perlowitz was recognized for her accomplishments in technology as one of the 100 Top Women in Computing by McGraw-Hill and is a Federal 100 award winner. Ms. Perlowitz is also very active with the Association for Corporate Growth and the National Association of Corporate Directors.
